1. Acceptance of the terms

These terms govern your use of the Raqame app for Android (package id com.ak.raqame) and the raqame.net website. By installing or using the app you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms are read together with the Privacy Policy.

2. Description of the service

Raqame is an inventory, sales and accounting app that runs locally on your device. Your day-to-day work — selling, purchasing, stock counts, accounting and printing — needs no internet connection; connectivity is limited to what is described in sections 4 and 6 (activation, transfer and periodic revalidation) and to optional services such as cloud backup and e-invoicing. The app is a tool that helps you run your business; it does not provide accounting, tax, or legal advice.

3. License to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license (except via the in-app transfer mechanism) to use the app for your business. You may not:

• Resell or distribute the app or activation codes without our written authorization.
• Attempt to decrypt, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the licensing system.
• Use the app for any unlawful activity.

4. Plans, prices and payment

• Free plan: runs without a license and remains available forever. It covers: product management and its master data (categories, units, brands, origins, equivalents), barcode-label printing, product import and export to Excel/CSV, barcode scanning and search, backup and restore, and switching between the companies already created on the device — with one saved print template per document type. The sales, point-of-sale, purchasing, customers and suppliers, vouchers, cheques, stock movements, stock counts, reports, accounting and HR modules require an active license.
• Base Pro plans: Lifetime — a one-time payment granting perpetual validity that never expires and requires no periodic revalidation after activation; or Annual — 365 days of validity including updates and cloud backup throughout, requiring one successful online check-in within each 30-day window.
• Add-ons: Raqame Bridge, E-invoicing and Multi-company are separate products, each with its own activation code and its own validity period, and are sold as activation cards only. Add-on features work only while the base license is active.
• Free trial: a 7-day trial activation code, redeemable once per device, unlocking the full system including e-invoicing and the bridge (not the multi-company add-on). It cannot be renewed, carries no grace days, and is refused on a device that already holds an active paid license.
• Purchasing: with prepaid activation cards in the RQM-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX format from authorized resellers, or via Google Play for the two base plans only (payments and refunds are subject to Google Play policies). Renewal codes are added to whatever remains of your period, so renewing early never wastes days. An activation card is like cash value: keep it safe; once redeemed it is non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
• Prices: are shown inside the app, may vary by market, and may change with advance notice for renewals.
• Included features: the exact list of features included in each plan is the one shown inside the app; it may differ between plans and evolve over time, and the in-app listing is authoritative.

5. Devices and license transfer

• Each license is valid on one active device at a time. Running a licensed copy on an additional device requires another license.
• You can move your licenses to a new device yourself using a QR code when both devices are with you; the base license and every add-on move together as one set, and only the old device needs an internet connection.
• If your device is lost, the license can be released remotely via the linked Google account, at most once every 90 days, as an anti-abuse measure.

6. License expiry and its effect

A Lifetime license does not expire. An Annual license keeps working offline until its expiry date plus 7 grace days. After that — or if more than 30 days pass without a successful online check-in, or if the device clock is turned back — the app falls back to the free plan described in section 4, until you renew or until a check-in completes. Each add-on expires independently of the others, and its features also pause whenever the base license is inactive.

Your data is never deleted and never held hostage. Your database stays complete on your device, and access to your products, their export to Excel, their label printing and taking backups remain available at all times — and everything returns exactly as it was the moment you activate or renew.

7. Your responsibilities

• Backups: your data is stored on your own device. The app provides local and cloud backup tools; taking regular backups and keeping them safe is your responsibility. We are not liable for data loss caused by device failure, deletion, or the absence of a backup.
• Passwords: the password of an encrypted backup cannot be recovered if forgotten — by us or anyone. Keep it somewhere safe.
• Data accuracy and compliance: you are responsible for the accuracy of the data and invoices you enter, and for complying with the tax and accounting regulations that apply to your business.
• Device and user security: you are responsible for securing your device and managing your app users and their permissions.

8. E-invoicing (JoFotara)

The e-invoicing feature is a technical connection to the systems of Jordan's Income and Sales Tax Department. You are responsible for the correctness of your establishment's integration credentials, the accuracy of submitted invoices, and all of your tax obligations. We are not a party to your relationship with the Department and do not guarantee the availability of its systems or the acceptance of invoices.

9. Intellectual property

The app, its design, its logo, and the "Raqame / رقمي" mark belong to the app's developer. These terms grant you no rights in the trademarks or source code. The data you enter remains entirely yours.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without express or implied warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the app is error-free or uninterrupted, though we work hard to make it so. The app's outputs (reports, financial statements, tax calculations) depend on the data you entered and are not a substitute for review by your accountant or advisor.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of profits or data, arising from the use of — or inability to use — the app. In all cases, our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you actually paid for the license in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We may revoke your licenses without refund if you materially breach these terms (such as sharing the license, trading activation codes without authorization, or attempting to circumvent the licensing system). Your data remains on your device and is unaffected by termination.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes are published on this page with an updated date above, and material changes are announced in the app. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, whose courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, unless mandatory laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.
